"Professional Association" A lottery is conducted "ADNOC League" and"Abu Dhabi Bank Cup" and"Electronic league"
Abu Dhabi, July 5/ WAM/ took place this evening at the main center of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC”, the “ADNOC Professional League”, and “Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup” and “UAE Professional League League for the 2025-2026 season.
The lottery ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and CEO of Adenk and its group of companies, His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Al -Junaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Professional Association, First Vice President of the Emirates Football Association, Saif Al -Falahi, Head of the Business Support Department of ADNOC, and Eng. And financing in the banking group of companies at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank.
The association this season applied a lottery system for each role in line with the best global practices adopted in English, Italian and German leagues, to enhance the level of technical excitement, sports competitiveness, and mass attendance.
The smart league lottery mechanism also took into account a set of criteria, including commitment to sports integrity, the distribution of matches according to the ranking of last season 2024-2025, the budget of important and mass matches, taking into account the external clubs ’participation, the dates of the matches in the same emirate, and the lack of more than two games in the tour of the same city on the same day.
The draw for the “Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup” resulted in strong confrontations in the first round, as he plays in the first track victory with Al -Battah, and the winner moves from them to meet Al -Ahly youth, while the winner of Sharjah and Dibba meets with the winner from Al Ain and Kalba.
The champions champion Al -Jazira will be played with the second track with the winner of Al -Wasl and Al -Dhafra, and the winner of Al -Wahda and Ajman meets with the winner from Bani Yas and Khor Fakkan.
In the ADNOC Professional League, Al -Ahly youth will face the Al -Dhafra team, and Ajman will play with Al -Wahda and Dibba with Sharjah and Al -Ain with Al -Battah and Kalba with Al -Nasr and Khor Fakkan with Al -Jazeera and Al -Wasl with Bani Yas.
The strong confrontations begin in the second round of the league with the youth of Al -Ahly with Al -Wahda and Sharjah with the island, and in the third round, Al -Wasl plays with Al Ain and Al -Jazeera with victory, and in the fourth round victory with Al -Ahly youth.
The fifth round will witness 3 prominent matches between Al -Ahly and Al -Ain, Al -Jazeera and Al -Wahda, and Al -Wasl with Sharjah, while Al -Wasl plays with victory in the sixth round in Dubai.
The matches of the second round are witnessing, in the first round of the second leg, confrontations between Al -Wahda, Dibba, Al -Dahrara with Sharjah and Ajman with the youth of Al -Ahly and Al -Nasr with Bani Yas, the regulations with Al -Jazeera and Kalba with Al Ain and Al -Wasl with Khor Fakkan.
On the other hand, the UAE Electronic Professional League draw revealed strong confrontations in two groups, as the first group includes the teams of Bani Yas, the regulations, Sharjah, Kalba, Ajman, Dibba and Al -Jazeera.
The second group also includes the Khorfakkan, Al -Wasl, Al -Ain, Al -Wahda, Al -Ahly, Al -Nasr and Al -Dhafra teams.
