"Emirates for driving cars" It accounts for a 22.5% stake in "Holding transportation"

Abu Dhabi, July 7 / WAM / Emirates Company for the Learning of Cars, affiliated to the Mustablay Group, announced its approval to acquire a 22.5% stake in the Maasalat Holding Company with the option to increase its ownership to 50.6%, taking into account the completion of some related conditions and regulatory approvals.

This strategic investment represents a pivotal step in the company’s growth march, and enhances its position as a major partner in developing the sustainable and safe movement in the UAE and the region by expanding its presence and accelerating the pace of innovation in transportation services.

The deal will contribute to providing great opportunities to achieve synergy between operations, which paves the way to achieve higher levels of profitability and enhance value in the long term.

Based on the legacy of the Emirates Driving Company for 25 years in the market, the deal will contribute to expanding the company’s portfolio in line with its ambitious vision of the future of smart and sustainable movement.

The acquisition will enhance the company’s capabilities in the public transport sector upon completion, in a way that paves the way for cooperation in operating buses and taxis, and provides new opportunities to improve the quality of services, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

This partnership also supports the UAE’s ambitions towards establishing a smart transportation system based on the latest technologies, including self -movement, which contributes to building a more comprehensive, flexible and sustainable transport network for future generations.
