President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud: We are grateful for Egypt’s supportive position for Somalia
Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud expressed his country’s gratitude to Egypt for its supportive position for Somalia at the time of crisis, adding that we look forward to continuing to strengthen the strategic partnership. Sheikh Mahmoud called on President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi to visit Somalia, expressing his thanks to the President of Egypt and its people for the good reception and hospitality. Sheikh Mahmoud expressed his aspiration to enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries and benefit from Egypt’s experiences in building state institutions, development and construction. This came during the speech of Sheikh Mahmoud in the participating press conference, with President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi at the Presidential Palace in the new city of Al -Ain. The joint press conference was preceded by bilateral talks between the two presidents, followed by extensive talks.
