After the Danish painter made direct accusations of the Egyptian media of the theft, the latter acknowledged her action, expressing her strong remorse for what she had committed against herself, and that she committed mistakes against the painter Lisa, the right of all artists, the program in which these paintings were presented, and finally against herself.
Maha refused, with a publication that participated in all her platforms on social media, justifying her action, indicating that no circumstance can be an excuse for what happened, and that she is angry at herself.
Returning to the details, the story started when Maha was a guest of the media Mona Al -Shazly in early June, declaring that she is very talented in drawing, and that she is a lover of art, and she presented one of the paintings that she said she drew; To express the feelings of many women trying to be creative, and the paintings that were shown on the program screen, at that time, received a wide praise of the audience.

It seems that the story of the display of paintings took some time to reach the painter, who was accompanied yesterday, who officially accused Maha Al -Saghir, stealing her paintings, and shared a post on her Instagram page, in which she said: “It is wonderful to see your paintings displayed on the screen in the country of a large population in this way, but it is unfortunate that the real painter’s name is not mentioned.”
Lisa described what Maha Al -Saghir did as a crime punishable by Egyptian law, explaining that she tried to contact the satellite channel that offered the drawings, without succeeding in communicating with her, so she had to re -publish her paintings to show the truth to people.
In another publication, the Danish confirmed that she had received many contacts from Egyptian citizens who apologized to her in the name of Egypt, and that the media Mona Al -Shazly wrote an official apology through her Facebook page and “Instagram”, except for thousands of messages and Egyptian journalists and lawyers with her, stressing that she fully believes that this behavior does not represent the Egyptian people at all, and that the TV channel is the host. In the details, the painter known as “City” published pictures of the paintings, which were shown during the aforementioned episode, confirming that he who drew it in 2017, not as the little one claimed.
The French painter, through his pages on social media, said that his studio appeared clearly, and his signature was apparent on the paintings, and that the image of the original painting is on his page in “Instagram”, for a long time.
“In the program, Maha Al -Saghir claimed that she was the owner of these works, and she was shown on a giant screen in front of millions of viewers, without any reference to me or respect for my effort, nor for the efforts of other talented artists.”
Although Maha Al -Saghir apologized publicly, she did not refer to the French painter in her post, as she shared an apology with the Danish artist, and with the media Mona Al -Shazly, who was involved in the story without guilt.
