The Ministry of Interior organizes an interactive session with senior citizens within the periodic meetings of customer councils

Ajman, July 9 / WAM / in a leading step towards consolidating the principle of digital inclusion, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Administration of Happiness, organized a consultative workshop designated for senior citizens, in the Al -Wasl Council in the Emirate of Ajman, in cooperation with the Office of the Presidency of the Council The National Policy of Digital Perfection, and the Promotion of the Performing Digital Transformation, to ensure a digital society available to all.

The session was an interactive meeting of the form of a dialogue platform that brought together senior citizens with the ministry, as it included a brainstorming session through which the most prominent challenges facing this category were discussed in the use of digital channels, in addition to offering their needs and proposals to improve the experience of accessing electronic services.

The workshops emphasized that the Ministry of Interior will take the outputs of these sessions into consideration, and will work to develop and improve digital channels and services in a way that meets the aspirations of senior citizens, and makes these platforms more comprehensive and easy to use.

This step reflects the Ministry’s commitment to enhance the quality of digital life and enable all segments of society, including senior citizens, to interact efficiently with digital government platforms, which is in line with the UAE’s vision in building an integrated digital community and free of barriers.

It is worth noting that the national policy of digital permeability, which was launched by the government of the UAE, aims to facilitate the access of senior citizens and people of determination to have digital services efficiently, and supports the transformation towards a smart government that uses the latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence and digital dealings, and in a manner that guarantees easy, flexible and equal access to basic services.
