Maktoum bin Muhammad discusses the public budget project for the fiscal year 2026

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Governor of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, held a meeting of the Federation’s General Budget Committee, to discuss the General Budget for the Finance year 2026, within the budget plan for the years 2022-2026.

His Highness said in his official account on the “X” platform: “We held today a meeting of the Federation’s General Budget Committee, to discuss the public budget project for the fiscal year 2026, within the budget plan for the years 2022-2026.”

His Highness continued: “During the meeting, we discussed the priorities of the federal authorities, economic updates, and expected financial flows, and we directed the Ministry of Finance to complete the necessary procedures in preparation for raising the budget to the cabinet.”

His Highness concluded by saying: “We continue to work to ensure the sustainability and response of the budget to the variables, and its alignment with the aspirations of our leadership and our development goals to consolidate the leadership of the Emirates between nations.”
