UAE and Chad are looking to enhance cooperation in the financial sector

Dubai, July 10 / WAM / His Excellency Mohammed bin Hadi Al -Husseini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, with His Excellency Taher Hamed Ansulin, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation in the Republic of Chad, discussed ways to enhance cooperation in areas related to the financial sector, as well as sectors of common concern between the two countries

The meeting was attended by the Ministry’s office in Dubai from the Chadian side, His Excellency Gopolovanga Matti, Minister of Trade and Industry, His Excellency Fatima Gokoni and Di, Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation and National Meteorology, His Excellency Fatima Al Jarda Garva, Minister Delegate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians abroad, and Omar Tiqin Edibi Bordi, Ambassador of the Republic of Chad

During the meeting, the two sides dealt with the importance of developing institutional partnerships, and activating the channels of financial cooperation between the two countries.

Al -Husseini affirmed the UAE’s commitment to support the efforts of financial cooperation with friendly countries, describing the exchange of technical expertise and capacity building in the financial fields as a basic pillar to enhance the efficiency of government financial work and achieve financial sustainability.

The two sides agreed on the importance of continuing coordination and communication in the relevant fields, which reflects the keenness of the two countries to consolidate bilateral cooperation and exchange best practices in this field.
