The launch of the “Drew Business Group” in Dubai

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, announced the establishment of the “Drending Business Group” in Dubai, with the aim of enhancing the sector’s growth, and providing a unified platform representing the delivery companies operating in Dubai and supports their interests.
The Dubai Chamber stated that the group’s launch comes within the efforts of the Chamber to enhance the representation of the private sector and its various sectors and economic activities, as it currently operates 106 business groups, which contributes to building a more flexible and prepared economy for the future.
According to the “Chamber”, the “Drending Business Group” in Dubai will coordinate and cooperate regularly with government agencies and private sector companies to discuss the reality of the sector, its opportunities and challenges, explore ways to develop policies, and support the growth of the long -term delivery services sector.
“The delivery services in Dubai are witnessing an accelerated growth driven by digital transformation, and the increasing consumer demand for all products, in conjunction with population growth and the acceleration of the city’s urban expansion,” said Maha Al -Qarqawi, Deputy Head of the Business Society Support Sector in Dubai Chamber, Maha Al -Qarqawi. We will cooperate with the Dubai Delivery Business Group, and we will help it to represent the interests of companies operating in the sector, and to contribute effectively to its sustainable growth.
The group will work to submit proposals to develop organizational policies, in a way that contributes to enhancing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the sector, as well as promoting international best practices, and contributing to advancing the economic growth of the Emirate of Dubai.
The group will also focus on upgrading the professional standards of the sector, developing sustainable delivery solutions, encouraging fair competition, supporting the adoption of smart technologies, such as artificial intelligence and electric vehicles, while it will also address central issues related to the luxury of operating cadres, improving organizational frameworks, and exchanging knowledge at the sector level.
Business groups are an essential pillar to ensure the representation of the various economic and commercial sectors in Dubai, as they play a vital role in facilitating dialogue between government agencies and private sector companies, which contributes to addressing the challenges related to policies and enhancing the competitiveness of the emirate’s economy.
