Dubai Press Club successfully concludes the first week of the 2nd version of the program "Arab podcast"

Dubai, July 13/ WAM/ The first week of the second version of the “Arab Podcast Program” witnessed the leading initiative organized by the “Dubai Press Club” with the aim of preparing and qualifying a new generation of audio content makers in the Arab world, a wide participation of a group of promising trainees to reflect the accelerating growth witnessed by this vital sector, and the increasing interest in it as an influential and innovative media method in line with the directions of the new media.
The program was launched on the seventh of this July at the headquarters of the Dubai Press Club, and continues for five intensive training weeks that combine the foundational and applied aspects, under the supervision of Charbel Issa, the approved coach in the podium podium in the podcast industry in the Middle East and North Africa.
The organization of this program comes in its second edition within the efforts of the Dubai Press Club to enhance the Arab podcast industry and contribute to the development of a renewed digital media environment, in line with the rapid changes in content consumption patterns, and supports a more effective and effective Arab presence in one of the fastest growing media industries around the world, as podcast has become a major platform for expression and a fertile field for innovation and media creativity.
The first week was distinguished by the organization of founding training units that dealt with various stages of podcast production, starting with the preparation of the content strategy and the design of post -production podcasts and the quality of registration as well as hosting and distribution on various podcast platforms as well as marketing strategy.
The first week of the program witnessed a wide participation of young men and women from all over the Arab world, during which they got to know the foundations of the podcast industry from an integrated professional perspective, starting from the basic concepts, to recording and audio preparation techniques, analyzing the audience’s trends, and identifying the audio identity of the content, in addition to discussing the best global practices in producing audio programs.
Maryam Al -Mulla, Acting Director of Dubai Press Club, confirmed that the interaction of participants in the first week reflects the extent of Arab youth’s interest in this vital field, noting that the podcast is today one of the most attractive media tools for the public, especially the youth category.
She said: “We are proud of the start of the second version of the program with this positive momentum, and during the first sessions we have touched a great passion for the participants to learn the techniques of the podcast industry and use it in producing professional Arab content, capable of competing regionally and globally … The program was designed to be an integrated training platform, not only on the knowledge side, but also includes intense practical application, which enables the participants to develop their projects Special sound.
