The conclusion of the activities of the seventh round of the youth solutions initiative to honor the winners and qualifying for the final stages

Abu Dhabi, July 14/ WAM/ in conjunction with the International Youth Skills Day, the Arab Youth Center concluded the activities of the seventh round of the youth solutions initiative, which was titled “Made in the Arab World – the version of the United Arab Emirates”, where the participation of a group of Emirati youth and Arabs residing on the UAE, by providing a number of innovative pioneering solutions to the challenges facing the industrial sector in the UAE, and the Arab region.

The event witnessed the honor of each of the winners and qualified for the final stages by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Vice President of the Arab Youth Center, and Salama Al -Awadi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Industrial Development Sector in the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, in the presence of a number of experts and decision makers, and wide youth participation in the atmosphere of challenge and competition, during which the winners of the first three centers were announced after the offers that They presented it to the jury.

During his opening speech, His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al -Neyadi stressed that the Arab Youth Center, with the support of its president, Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, believes in the ability of young people to make innovative solutions in all fields, especially in the industrial sector, indicating that the end of this seventh round of the initiative of youth solutions is a new start for winning and qualified projects for further expansion and growth in the industrial sector Youth energy.

His Excellency added: “Between dream and application, this version was characterized by passion, persistence and spirit of competition, we have seen in the successful projects as makers for the future, their arrival in this stage of determination and passion was a promising model for the role of young people in upgrading Arab industries in various fields, and a great awareness among young people of the importance of paying attention to national industries.”

For its part, His Excellency Salama Al -Awadi stressed that the partnership with the Arab Youth Center within this version of “youth solutions” represents a practical step to integrate young people into the paths of sustainable industrial development, especially since these ideas contribute to enhancing the needs of local markets, supporting the UAE’s priorities in several major areas such as developing the efficiency of logistical processes and supply chains, improving production efficiency, and developing sustainable alternative materials.

She added: “The initiative reflected the important role of strategic partnerships, especially with the Federal Youth Corporation, industrial companies in the private sector to support the target of the national strategy for advanced industry and technology (project 300 billion) and the national content program, and to turn this vision into tangible and measurable results, and we have a profound belief in the ability of young people to innovate and formulate solutions to future challenges. We witnessed inspiring work models Ideas that can be implemented, combining technology, the environment and entrepreneurship.

The first place won a prize of 100,000 dirhams, the VIAI project, a representative of business leaders Abdullah Abu Ubaid, who presented an innovative solution to develop sports performance through smart glasses supported by artificial intelligence, in a move that enhances the intersection of technology with sports and health, while the second place was the share of the Satkit project for the entrepreneur Abdullah Al -Salmani, with a prize of 70,000 dirhams, which is an educational package Interactive to teach students the basics of satellite development, while the “contributing” project for entrepreneurship Mohamed Sirwan won the third place with a prize of 50,000 AED, which offers a digital platform that integrates artificial intelligence and blockchain to motivate individuals and societies to recycle electronic waste.

It should be noted that the seventh round of the initiative of youth solutions, organized by the Arab Youth Center in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and in cooperation with the Federal Youth Foundation, and lasted for three weeks of practical training and specialized workshops in cooperation with Elevate Ventures specialized in promoting entrepreneurship, enabled the participants to develop industrial solutions that can be applied within an integrated model that combines creativity and feasibility Economic.
