"Abu Dhabi team" Participates in the Formula 2 World Cup for fast boats in Lithuania
Abu Dhabi, July 15/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi fast bocks team will participate in the second round of the World Formula 2 World Championship, which is hosted by the city of Kalbidia in Lithuania on July 18 and 19, within the elite of the contestants from around the world.
The team is participating in the number 1, led by Rashid Al -Qamzi, the defending champion, along with the 35th boat, led by Mansour Al -Mansouri, to defend the title that crowned last season, and leaves his official mission tomorrow to Lithuania.
The first round was held in the city of Brendisi, Italy last June, and witnessed Al -Qamzi suffered a technical failure that kept him away from the competition, and the Mansouri boat for a coup in the last race courses, and its British title Matthew in Viraiman was achieved, and Frenchman Peter Morin came second, and the Swedish Wilmer and Eberg third.
Rashid Al -Qamzi has the best balance among all participants, winning the world title five times, to be the distinguished nomination to win the title of the current season.
Nasser Al Dhaheri, head of the mission, stressed that participation in the second round represents a pivotal station for the team in the journey of defending the world title, noting the importance of focusing on winning the largest number of points to strengthen the team’s position in the general ranking of the tournament.
