Ajman Municipality announces the implementation of the Misheerf Council to enhance community communication
Ajman, July 15/ WAM/ The Municipal and Planning Department – Ajman announced the implementation of the Misheerf Council project to allocate a community council in the Musheirf market, which is one of the oldest markets of the emirate and the beating of heritage, life and authentic identity, and also witnesses a daily gathering of the residents of the region.
Dr. Eng. Mohamed Ahmed bin Omair Al -Muhairi, Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector in the department, said that the high leadership, in conjunction with the general community, is keen to meet the requirements of the population in various fields, the most important of which is to enhance societal cohesion and strengthen the bonds and relationships, in line with the directions of Ajman 2030 vision to build a comprehensive and coherent society, pointing out that the department will start implementing the project during the last quarter of this year.
He added that the initiative reflects the department’s direction towards investing in public spaces, not only urban, but also socially and culturally, and turning it into engines for social cohesion and urban integration, as it is an embodiment of a modern vision that starts from the reality of people and returns to them, and highlights the importance of listening to the voice of society when planning any future project.
The council will be designed in an architectural style inspired by the heritage environment for the place, to carry the identity of the market and its spirit, and it is combined with a smooth flow within its urban tissue to preserve its distinctive originality and identity.
It will be an open space for societal dialogues, positive initiatives, and a point to meet generations, in a way that enhances family and societal bonding, restores the councils their educational and cultural role, and it will be a station for daily dialogues and experiences that have always distinguished community life in Ajman.
