International Government Communication Forum starts September 10

Sharjah, July 17/ WAM/ Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
This annual event is a global intellectual platform to discuss the future of communication, and highlight its pivotal roles in addressing global challenges, with the participation of a group of leaders, experts and officials from different countries of the world.
In its new version, the forum focuses on five main axes that discuss food security, education, public health, environmental transformation and green economics as basic pillars in improving the quality of life.
His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allai, Director General of the Media Office of the Sharjah Government, stressed the forum’s keenness to choose its topics according to a comprehensive development vision, indicating that the quality of life is a collective responsibility that requires smart and influential communication tools that enhance awareness and support decision -making.
He pointed out that the forum has become one of the most important international platforms to discuss the topics of communication, and it seeks in its new session to exchange visions and proposals to come out with executive programs that contribute to directing energies towards more comprehensive and fair development goals, according to the footsteps of the Emirate of Sharjah in promoting the concept of quality of life, and putting it within government development programs, as it is the main engine of achievement and success.
He explained that the forum continues its new session to attract a group of thinkers, researchers and practitioners from all over the world, to discuss its prescribed agenda, indicating that the diversity of experiences and specialties and the different views, is what makes a rich dialogue, and gives the forum its human and professional dimension alike.
In its new session, the forum discusses the role of government communication in stimulating positive change, by enhancing awareness of the importance of sustainable food practices, stimulating innovation in agriculture, and supporting societies in facing environmental and social crises.
It also deals with the impact of education as a long -term means of communication that contributes to building a generation capable of accommodating and adapting variables with them, as well as enabling it to find realistic solutions to the challenges facing its food security, health and environment.
The forum highlights the role of government media and narratives in reshaping individual behavior, and pushing individuals and institutions to adopt a more aware and responsible lifestyle.
It discusses the opportunities of the green economy in providing new jobs, expanding the umbrella of environmental justice, and the role of communication in building partnerships that enhance confidence between governments and societies.
