Al -Wasl Football Company announced the seventh “Emperor” deals during the current summer transfer period, by contracting with the Brazilian player Edrillson Silva, to strengthen the “Al -Fahud” defense line next season.

For his part, Lyon, the sixth of the French League, announced the transfer of its 27 -year -old Brazilian defender Edrillson to Al -Wasl Al -Wasl for 2.2 million euros, including the rewards, according to what was mentioned in an official statement on his account on the social media platform «X), pointing out that he maintains 50 percent of any future sale of the player.

Edrillson, who previously played with Al Wasl in the 2021-2022 season, moved to Lyon in January 2024 for 3.58 million euros from Brazilian Potafogo.

Edrillson played only four games with Lyon, where he failed to impose himself in the starting lineup and loaned him to Botafogo (11 games, one goal) and then to the Belgian Anderlecht from January to June (14 games, one goal).
