The start of the fourth session of the international program of civil aviation leaders

Abu Dhabi, July 22 / WAM / The activities of the fourth session of the international program of civil aviation leaders, organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation, were launched in cooperation with the government knowledge exchange office in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, with the participation of more than 22 government officials from ministers and general managers and decision -makers from the ministries and civil aviation bodies around the world.
The program, which is organized from 21 to 24 July, highlights the leadership of the UAE in the areas of innovation in aviation, sustainability, and government transformation.
His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, said that the UAE pays great attention to enhancing the culture of innovation and sustainability in the civil aviation sector as a major contributor in supporting the growth and competitiveness of the national economy, and is also keen to continue its efforts in enhancing international cooperation to exchange the best experiences and practices in this vital sector.
He added that the civil aviation sector is witnessing a continuous shift driven by the accelerated technological progress, which requires a sophisticated and enriched government performance capable of keeping pace with this development and benefiting from its opportunities, and that through the organization of this program, the authority is looking to create an interactive dialogue platform aimed at developing new innovative visions and solutions that enhance the sustainability and competitiveness The UAE globally as an effective and pioneering partner in formulating a more sustainable and competitive future for the international civil aviation sector.
For his part, His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said that the UAE is a global aircraft center, and one of the most prominent countries producing aviation fuel in the world, and continues in light of an era characterized by sustainability and technological transformation, its commitment to enhancing international cooperation, and leading efforts to develop innovative solutions that guarantee the growth of the aviation sector responsible and effectively, in line with its climatic goals.
Al -Mazrouei pointed out that the fourth edition of the international program of civil aviation leaders embodies the firm commitment of the UAE to empower future leaders, enhance innovation in the aviation sector, and that the program represents a leading platform for developing strategic thinking, exchanging experiences, and building future leaders capable of directing the sector towards a more sustainable and flexible future.
For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, said that the distinguished experiences developed by the UAE in the civil aviation sector represent an advanced model that the knowledge exchange office in cooperation with the General Authority of Civil Aviation seeks to circulate and participate with brotherly and friendly countries, which reflects positively on this vital sector, indicating that the program represents an open space to share experiences Exchange of experiences, and an opportunity for all those interested around the world to upgrade the aviation sector and enhance its readiness for the future.
In turn, His Excellency Saif Al -Suwaidi, Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, stressed the importance of the international program for aviation leaders, which today has become a specialized platform to exchange best government practices and expertise in the civil aviation sector, embodying the UAE’s commitment to promoting international dialogue, exchanging knowledge, and enabling leaders to experience the necessary experiences to formulate the future of aviation governance.
The fourth session of the program will participate in the program ministers and officials in the government of the UAE, including His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, His Excellency Suhail Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, His Excellency Maryam bin Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary -General of the Council of Ministers, His Excellency Saif Muhammad Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competition Experiences, along with a group of speakers and experts who will review the UAE model in government excellence, digital transformation and civil aviation leadership.
The program covers an intensive agenda that reflects the integrated vision of the UAE in government development, especially in the aviation sector; Where the first day focuses on reviewing the Emirati model in leadership, innovation and economic development through aviation and tourism, while the second day highlights the role of artificial intelligence and flexible governance and governments’ readiness for the future in drawing global aviation strategies.
The third day is devoted to the issue of sustainability and climate work in the aviation sector, which reflects the UAE’s commitment to environmentally responsible growth in this vital sector.
The program had achieved great success in its previous three sessions, and witnessed a wide participation from the countries of the region and the world, which strengthened its position as a leading platform for exchanging knowledge and innovation in the aviation sector, while the current version is expected to witness a record number in the number of attendees from major personalities and government delegations that represent ministries, government agencies and institutions related to the aviation sector.
