The academic evaluation of the academic year 2025-2026 for private schools in Dubai

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai announced the details of the academic evaluation of the new academic year 2025-2026 in the Emirate’s private schools, as part of its commitment to applying the directives issued by the government of the United Arab Emirates and ensuring the organization of the educational process within a clear and transparent timetable.

The authority emphasized that all private schools in Dubai, whether that begins their academic year in September or in April, are obligated to adhere to the deadlines set in the approved academic calendar, including the beginning and end of the academic year, in addition to winter, spring and summer vacations, with the need to meet the minimum number of school days, which is 182 school days.

The academic calendar for private schools that start in September:

The beginning of the school year: August 25, 2025

Winter Leave: It starts on December 15, 2025 and the study will be resumed on January 5, 2026

Spring vacation: It starts on March 23, 2026

The study is resumed on April 6, 2026

Schools that follow the curriculum of the Ministry of Education will resume study on April 13, 2026

The end of the school year: June 26, 2026

Temperature days: 182 days

The academic calendar for private schools that start in April:

The beginning of the school year: April 7, 2025

Summer vacation: It starts on June 30, 2025

The resumption of the study after the summer: August 25, 2025

Winter Leave: It starts on December 15, 2025, and the study will be resumed on January 5, 2026

The end of the school year: March 31, 2026

Temperature days: 182 days

The authority explained that the schools will inform the parents initially of all official holidays and holidays, such as religious holidays and the national day, provided that these dates will be reaffirmed later after the official announcement by the UAE government.

The Authority also called on parents to visit its official website, where they can see the academic evaluation of each school through the search for educational institutions available on the platform, by clicking on the name of the school required to obtain subtle details.
