The World Council for Tolerance and Peace praises France, its intention to recognize the State of Palestine

Abu Dhabi, July 26/ WAM/ The World Council for Tolerance and Peace praised His Excellency French President Emmanuel Macron, his country’s intention to formally recognize the State of Palestine.
His Excellency Ahmed bin Muhammad Al -Jarwan, Chairman of the Council, said that this initiative is a courageous and responsible step towards supporting right and justice and enhancing peace opportunities in the Middle East.
He stressed that the recognition of the State of Palestine represents the shortest way towards achieving stability and peace in the Middle East, in a way that reflects positively on international peace and security, stressing that recognition of the Palestinian state is a right of the Palestinian people in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.
He added that the World Council for Tolerance and Peace fully supports this French trend, and considers it a positive incentive for the international community to move forward in concrete steps towards building a fair and permanent peace, and maintaining security and stability in the whole world.
The Council called on all countries to follow the example of this initiative, and to join efforts to achieve the right and achieve coexistence and sustainable peace between peoples, noting that establishing justice is the main pillar of tolerance, development and stability.
