She receives health care .. Fayrouz collapsed after the death of her son, Ziad Rahbani
Local media sources confirmed that the artist Fayrouz entered into a state of collapse and astonishment as soon as she received the news of the death of her son, while a medical staff rushed to her home in Beirut to provide the necessary care in an atmosphere enveloped in sorrow within the family.
Ziyad Rahbani, the son of the artist Fayrouz and the late Assi Rahbani, is one of the most important renovators in the Lebanese music and theater, as his artistic experience formed a milestone since the 1970s.

He began his theatrical career with the “Sahriya” play in 1973, and he succeeded in charting the features of his own style that mixes ridicule and political and social criticism.
Ziad’s contributions were not limited to the stage, but had remarkable fingerprints in music, as he wrote and distributed a group of songs performed by his mother Fayrouz, and made a shift in her singing career, and also cooperated with a number of big artists.
His tunes were distinguished by the introduction of Western musical patterns such as jazz into the traditional eastern structure, in a bold and inflatable artistic formula.

Obtaining Ziad Al -Rahbani
A number of Lebanese officials expressed their grief over the departure of Rahbani, as the Lebanese President Joseph Aoun described it as “a living conscience, a voice that does not know the truce, and a unique cultural situation.”
While Prime Minister Nawaf Salam mourned the late artist, saying: “With the departure of Ziyad, Lebanon loses one of the most prominent voices of freedom and justice, and an artist who has been committed to human and home issues until the last moment.”
Salam added in a post on the “X” platform: “Ziyad said from the stage, and in his music and his words, unless many dare to say, his voice was an extension of the pain of the Lebanese and their hopes through decades.”
