Brigadier Samira Al Ali, who has been working in Dubai Police for 31 years, has a record of achievements and giving in her career, whether at the level of leadership leadership and initiatives, or in the field of innovation, intellectual works and the leadership of work teams.

With her craftsmanship and high professionalism, she managed to apply the best international practices in the field of insurance, as it heads the Insurance Department, in addition to obtaining many individual and group awards, to embody these achievements with the capabilities of Emirati women to creativity and excellence in various fields, especially military ones.

Brigadier Samira Al -Ali appreciated the confidence that the wise leadership has given, noting the support that women receive to enable them in various fields, and said: “This promotion represents a pride for every woman working in the Dubai Police Force, which is keen to give the female component the opportunity to take over positions and contribute to serving the country alongside her man’s brother.”

Brigadier Samira Al Ali thanked the Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, Lieutenant -General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, and the Commander -in -Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al -Marri, for their confidence in her capabilities during the past years, leading to her promotion to this rank that a woman has not reached before, and she affirmed: “I am grateful to all the support that I received from various leaders and military ranks in the Dubai Police,” adding that “this promotion for me is a great responsibility To be responsible and confident, and to do my best in the service of the country and the Dubai Police Corporation, which I am proud to be one of its cadres.

Brigadier Al Ali recounts the story of the beginnings: “I graduated in 1991 at the Emirates University after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, and worked in one of the companies in the field of insurance and reinsurance for a period In insurance, and my former work in an insurance company, I asked me to join work in this field in the Dubai Police, especially since he was in its beginnings, and it was a micro insurance office ».

Brigadier Al -Ali began working in the Insurance Office at the time, accompanied by only two employees, and given its previous specialization and experience, it was able to harness all its capabilities, and it developed the office, and after a year of joining the work, it turned into a specialized department, and with the passage of years until 2000 the department turned into a sub -administration, including three main sections concerned with everything related to insurance for the property and assets of the Dubai police, including Live property.

Brigadier Al Ali was able to make a qualitative shift in the field of insurance in Dubai Police by applying the latest operations and best international practices, conducting continuous developmental reference comparisons, accompanied by the human cadre in insurance management, and out of high -level insurance services.

It also succeeded through its leadership of the “Safe Leadership Stars” initiative launched by Dubai Police to reduce the number of accidents committed by the force drivers in obtaining the seven -star award of the COER Research Center (COE) in New Zealand, as well as obtaining the Commander -in -Chief Prize for Excellence in the category of the best administrative team for the Sand project that aims to reduce accidents and compensation in the administration of administration Insurance, as well as winning seven -star category at the Dubai Police level within the cognitive project “Conscious of them guarantee” aimed at educating employees about the insurance aspects, and other awards.

Brigadier Al -Ali is very active in the field of memberships in the special committees to support the empowerment of women, she is the head of the “Dana Women’s” committee in the General Administration of Transport and Rescue since 2017, which contributes to launching initiatives for the happiness of women, and besides her membership outside the Dubai Police, she is the vice -president of the continuing improvement team with Dubai Quality Group, and a member of the Committee for the Work injuries committee at the state level.

Brigadier Al Ali, the mother of Ibn Muhandis working in the field of chemical engineering, is keen to achieve a balance between her working and family life, and indicates that her work in the Dubai Police has taught her from the beginning the concept of discipline and commitment, which enabled her to organize her life effectively.

Brigadier Al Ali participated in 163 courses and conferences, and presented 16 workshops and a course in the field of insurance, in addition to insurance consultations, benefiting more than 21 thousand beneficiaries, in addition to submitting 225 development proposals at the level of Dubai Police.

She also participated in 65 work teams, and her work in Dubai Police obtained 392 badges, medals and appreciation certificates, in addition to obtaining a master’s degree in business administration and a diploma in information technology.
