Gulf GDP jumps to $ 588 billion at the end of 2024

The latest data issued by the statistical center of the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf revealed that the gross domestic product at the current prices of the GCC countries amounted to 587.8 billion dollars, mainly driven by non -oil activities that constituted 77.9% of the total output, in an indicator that reflects the depth of economic diversity in the region, and this number represents growth of 1.5% compared to 579 billion dollars the value of the local product Al -Khaleeji during the same period in 2023, while the contribution of oil activities reached 22.1%of the gross domestic product, at the end of 2024, and the existing manufacturing industries topped by 12.5%, followed by wholesale and retail trade activity by 9.9%, then the construction sector by 8.3%.
