"Dubai Culture" The artistic scene in the creative Al -Quoz is enriched with inspiring murals

Dubai, July 28/ WAM/ The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture” implemented two artistic murals in the creative Al -Quoz region, within the framework of the strategy of “Art in Public Places”, with the aim of enriching the cultural scene and providing open visual experiences that enhance the transformation of Dubai into an international art exhibition available to all, and its position is established as a global center for culture and creativity.
The two murals bear the imprint of three artists, through their artwork, vibrant spaces inspired by the spirit of the Al -Quoz region and the opportunities they provide for talents and entrepreneurs.
The Egyptian actress Rabab Tantawi created a mural entitled “Creative Al -Quoz Voices”, which was characterized by heritage elements such as kiosks, Arab coffee, and decorations, on the front of the “Aramatk” company.
As for the mural of “surprise windows”, which was implemented by Emirati artist Hind Al -Murid in cooperation with the Syrian actress Dina Al -Saadi, on the front of the Children’s Museum, “Waho”, it represents a fictional journey that celebrates the world of childhood and heritage through symbols such as the Hudda, Dallah, and the architectural landmarks.
Shaima Rashid Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector in Dubai Culture, stressed the importance of this strategy in supporting the cultural industries system and turning the emirate into a sustainable creative environment.
She pointed out that the “Al -Quoz Voices” and “surprising windows” murals constitute a qualitative addition that expresses the diversity of the region, and highlights its ability to attract and motivate young energies.
For her part, Moza Lootah, director of the “Art in Public Places” project, explained that these murals embody cultural diversity and local identity, and contribute to stimulating cultural tourism and enhancing societal interaction with artistic works in public spaces.
