The profits of the state -owned Chinese companies decreased during the first half

Beijing on July 30/ WAM/ The profits and revenues of Chinese companies owned by the state and companies that are subject to their administration decreased during the first half of 2025.
Official data issued by the Chinese Ministry of Finance, yesterday, Tuesday, showed a decrease in profits during the mentioned period by 3.1% on an annual basis, while operational revenues fell by 0.2%.
The total taxes and fees owed to the aforementioned companies reached about 3 trillion yuan “about 419.52 billion US dollars” during the first half, a decrease of 0.8% on an annual basis, while the percentage of assets to liabilities for these companies reached 65.2% at the end of last June.
