The deadline for customs duties will not be extended

US President Donald Trump said that the deadline he set to impose counter -duties on the rest of the trade partners of his country will not be extended next Friday.

Trump wrote on his social communication platform, “August 1, is the date of the first of August … It is fixed and will not be extended … It is a great day for America,” Trump wrote on his social media.

Trump waved that India may face customs duties ranging from 20 % and 25 %, but he indicated that the final decision has not yet been resolved, with negotiations continuing to reach a trade agreement before August 1.

Trump had launched a series of mutual fees in April, then partially froze it at 10 %, to allow negotiations, but the deadline for starting their implementation again approaches, while the US President did not succeed except in securing a limited number of agreements.

On the other hand, the American economy recorded 3 % growth in the second quarter on a quarterly basis, that is, with more expectations that it will grow 2.6 %.

The private sector in the United States added jobs much higher than expected during July, which reduces concerns about the slowdown in the labor market and the economy.

According to the monthly “ADB” report, which was issued on Wednesday, the American private sector added 104,000 jobs in July, which is higher than 64,000 expected jobs, and this is compared with the modified June reading to the loss of about 23 thousand jobs.

This is with the addition of the leading sectors for jobs, including entertainment and hospitality, which added 46 thousand jobs, and financial activities 28 thousand, while the education and health services sector lost 38 thousand jobs.

Wages increased by 4.4 % on an annual basis during July, depending on the data.
