Saudi budget .. 565.2 billion riyals revenues .. and 658.4 billion expenses in the first half

The Ministry of Finance issued the quadruple report to perform the state’s general budget in the second quarter of 2025, “Saudi Budget”, with revenues of 565.2 billion riyals in the first half, 658.4 billion riyals expenses, and a deficit of 93.2 billion riyals.
The report stated that in the first half of the current year, it amounted to 301.5 billion riyals, a decrease of 24%, while it amounted to 263.66 billion riyals, an increase of 5%.

Saudi budget

He pointed out that the expenses in the first half of 2025 included: 286.4 billion riyals compensation for workers, and 138.2 billion riyals, the use of goods and services.
The financing expenses amounted to 24.3 billion riyals, while the subsidies amounted to 14.1 billion riyals, while the grants amounted to 689 million riyals.
The expenses included social benefits of 69.6 billion riyals, non -financial assets 67.7 billion riyals, and other expenses estimated at 57.2 billion riyals.
According to the budget report, the actual disposal of the public administration sector amounted to 29.57 billion riyals, while the actual disposal of the military sector amounted to 111.219 billion riyals.
The actual disbursement of the security sector and administrative areas in the first half amounted to: 60.8 billion riyals, while the actual disposal of the municipal services sector reached 43.15 billion riyals.
According to the report, the actual disposal of the education sector in the first half amounted to 104 billion riyals, while in the health and social development sector reached 155.8 billion riyals.
The actual disbursement of the economic resources sector reached 45.7 billion riyals, 18.5 billion riyals for the basic equipment and transportation sector, and 89.5 billion riyals for the public items sector.

General reserve balance

According to the report, the state reserve balance until the end of the first half of 2025 amounted to 396.954 billion riyals, while the current account reached 102.587 billion riyals.
He pointed out that the public debt up to the first half of 2025 amounted to 1.386 trillion riyals, distributed over 871.3 billion riyals of internal debt, and 515.1 billion riyals of external debt.
