The Fujairah Media Forum concludes its activities and recommends a huge prize for creators of meaningful media content
Fujairah, February 12, 2026 Fujairah Media Forum concluded its activities with a qualitative announcement represented by the launch of a grand award for the best media content on social media platforms, in a step that confirms the forum’s orientation towards stimulating digital creativity and honoring influential experiences that combine professionalism, innovation and social responsibility.
The forum’s activities this year came under the slogan “New Media: Masks of Truth,” and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and with the follow-up and support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, so that the event constitutes an advanced intellectual station in reading the transformations of the Arab media scene and anticipating its future.
Over two days, the Emirate of Fujairah hosted an elite group of media leaders, content makers, experts and academics, in an intellectual demonstration that reflected the emirate’s position as a center for the cultural and media movement in the UAE and the region.
The forum witnessed a series of specialized sessions and workshops that discussed pivotal issues, including “Youth and the National Media: Between Belonging and Influence,” “The Spectacular Media,” “Influence Creation between Creativity and Chaos,” “How Does the Media Create the Image of the Artist?”, “You Are Threatened by Absence,” and “Making Official Media Leaders.” The discussions were concluded with an intellectual session entitled “Who Leads Arab Media Awareness?” Which formed a summary of theses and visions.
In a statement, His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al-Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, confirmed that the forum this year established a renewed intellectual movement, saying: “The richness of the proposals and the diversity of the sessions we witnessed reflects a deep awareness of the magnitude of the transformations that the media is experiencing. We were keen to ensure that the innovation preceded the form, and that the space for dialogue expanded to include different generations and experiences.”
He added that the next session will witness the expansion of the participation of “Tomorrow’s Media” through specific initiatives that attract students and young content makers, and give them more space for expression, experimentation, and making a conscious impact.
The recommendations issued by the forum stressed the importance of supporting promising media talents and embracing young energies through specific training programs and sustainable development initiatives that contribute to refining skills and enhancing professionalism.
She also stressed the need to invest in children and adolescents to build a media-savvy generation, possessing the tools of critical awareness and digital culture, and capable of conscious interaction with a rapidly transforming media environment.
The recommendations called on media institutions to continue keeping pace with technical development, especially in the fields of digital media, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies, in a way that enhances the quality of content, maintains credibility, and establishes flexible business models capable of adapting to successive changes.
The outcomes of the forum stressed the importance of establishing the media as an authentic partner in building societal understanding, promoting a culture of responsible dialogue, and balancing freedom of expression with professional commitment, in addition to developing the Arab media discourse to be more profound, influential, and sustainable.
