The Abu Dhabi International Gableping Championship 2025 starts with the participation of 1,000 players from 60 countries
Al Ain on August 1 / WAM / The first day of the Abu Dhabi International Glamping Championship 2025, hosted by the Emnik Al Ain Center for three days, started with the participation of 1,000 athletes and sports from more than 60 countries to the Al Ain region.
This tournament is organized by the International Vision for Sports Management “IVSM” and in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi and under the umbrella of the Abu Dhabi Association for the Jojitsu Professionals.
The first day competitions were attended by Saeed Al Dhaheri, Director of Tourist Divishes Department at the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi; Tariq Al -Bahri, General Manager of the International Vision for Sports Management; His Excellency Kennem Melimo Nganga, Ambassador of the Kenya Republic to the state.
The first day of the tournament witnessed the professional category of the semi -finals, which recorded great enthusiastic and competitive struggles between the players amid a remarkable public presence and an enthusiastic atmosphere, especially with the players seeking to reserve their places in the championship finals, and obtaining 2,000 rating points from the Abu Dhabi Association for Jujitsu and winning valuable cash prizes.
The success of the tournament in attracting more than 1,000 athletes and sports from more than 60 countries reflects the ability and superiority of sports events according to the highest international and professional standards.
“We started preparing for the championship a long time ago, because we realize that it is a strong and new tournament and requires a great deal of focus, which raises the level of the challenge, especially since we seek to achieve the largest number of points and competitions very strong today except for the large size of participation, and this requires us more effort to win,” said Abdullah Saqr Abdullah, the player of the MD Academy participating in the tournament in the professional category.
It is noteworthy that yesterday the shirt of the tournament was revealed during a press conference held at the Emnik Al Ain Center and the championship activities will be completed tomorrow, as the next two days witness more exciting conflicts, especially with the entry of the junior and amateur categories, and the completion of a final day full of suspense with the finals to crown the best names in the graping sport in the world.
