They blessed university degrees … the resignation of deputies due to a false biographies in Spain
The crisis was discovered on July 21, after Socialist Transport Minister Oscar Pente, known for his sharp interventions on the “X” platform, questioned the authenticity of the biography of a representative of the right -wing People’s Party of Nonth Nunith.
The 33 -year -old deputy, who is one of the emerging faces of the conservative party close to the President of Madrid region Isabel Diaz Iusu, claimed that she obtained certificates in law, public administration and English -Philology.
CV contradictions
After asking to clarify the contradictions between the CV that she published, the deputy admitted that she had begun studying these specializations, but she did not obtain any of the mentioned certificates.
The deputy, who has the follow -up of hundreds of thousands of people on social media, defended herself by saying: “I confirm that it was a mistake and I had no intention to deceive anyone,” declaring on July 22 her resignation.
Accusation
In the aftermath, the right -wing and left parties exchanged accusations in a feverish race to reveal errors and guys in the academic biography of their political opponents.
The head of the Andalusia region, Juan Manuel Moreno (Juanma) of the People’s Party, was accused of obtaining a certificate of business administration without right.
The government actress in Valencia, Pillar Bernabe, who belongs to the Socialist Party, was also accused of claiming a leave in the media. As for Oscar Bentei, who started this controversy, she was criticized for using the term “Master”, although his academic level is less than that.
The accusations that are sometimes difficult to verify their authenticity have led some political officials to demand more transparency, while others initiated their CV.
Forged certificate
Socialist Jose Maria Angel, in charge of the reconstruction of the areas affected by the floods of October 29 in Valencia, stepped down last Thursday, after an unknown complaint was accused of using a forged certificate to fill a government job.
