The profits of “Takaful Island” decreased to 4 million riyals in the second quarter

The profits of the island company, Takaful “Takaful Island”, decreased in the second quarter of 2025 by 63.2% to 4 million riyals, compared to 11 million riyals in the same quarter of last year.
According to the company’s statement on Saudi Arabia’s circulation, this decrease is mainly due to:
• A decrease in the total results of insurance services, which amounted to 5,355 million riyals, compared to 10,684 million riyals during the same quarter of the previous year, a decrease of 49.88%.
The net profit after zakat and income tax returning to the shareholders for the current quarter reached 4,080 million riyals, compared to 16,112 million riyals during the previous quarter, a decrease of 74.68%, and this decrease is mainly due to:
• A decrease in the total results of insurance services, reaching 5,355 million riyals, compared to 16,537 million riyals during the previous quarter, a decrease of 67.62%.
The net profit after zakat and income tax returning to shareholders in the current period amounted to 20,193 million riyals, compared to 23,871 million riyals during the same period in the previous year, a decrease of 15.41%, and this decrease is mainly due to:
• A decrease in the total results of insurance services in the current period to 21,892 million riyals, compared to 26,357 million riyals for the same period during the previous year, a decrease of 16.94%.
