The Ministry of Sports announces the formation of the Youth Council

Dubai, August 12/ WAM/ The Ministry of Sports announced the formation of the Youth Council, to enhance the participation of young competencies in developing national sport and develop sports work outputs.
The announcement of the formation of the council comes in conjunction with the International Youth Day, in confirmation of the commitment to the directives of the wise leadership, in line with its forward -looking vision of enabling Emirati youth, and their support to be the future pioneers in various fields.
The Council aims to enhance the role of youth within national sports institutions, and stimulate innovation by opening the way for new ideas and initiatives that contribute to developing the sports sector in line with the ambitious national sports vision, and enhancing internal interaction in the ministry by building effective communication channels between young employees and the higher leadership, to consolidate a work environment based on cooperation and open dialogue.
The Youth Council consists of the elite of young employees in the Ministry of Sports, chaired by Hamad Hassan Rashid Al -Jarwan, while Dr. Mansour Darwish Ahmed Al -Shizawi as Vice President, and also includes a number of members: Abdul Rahman Ahmed Abdullah Al -Mansouri, Hamad Muhammad Hussein Al Jasmi, Fatima Majid Muhammad Al -Suwaidi, Muhammad Khalifa Ali Muhammad Al -Qamzi, and Ijij Khalifa Saeed Al -Dhanhani.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Balhal Al -Falasi, Minister of Sports, stressed that the formation of the Youth Council in the Ministry of Sports represents a strategic step to consolidate the participation of youth in formulating the future of national sport, and reflects confidence in their vital role in achieving excellence and sustainability in this sector.
His Excellency said that the announcement of the council comes in conjunction with the celebration of the International Youth Day, to embody our keenness to invest in the energies and creativity of the UAE youth and young women, and to provide institutional platforms that allow them to participate in decision -making, and the active contribution to developing our sports system in line with the targets of the national sports strategy 2031, and seeing “We are 2031”.
For his part, Hamad Al -Jarwan, the head of the beacon, said that the establishment of the Youth Council is a strategic step towards enabling young competencies, and delivering their voice to decision makers in the Ministry of Sports, and reflects the Ministry’s commitment to enhance the approach to participation and direct interaction with the youth category who represent the basic pillar of building a brighter sporting future for the UAE.
