المملكة: Including 1,800 infiltrators… 22,000 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested


Resulting Joint field campaigns to follow up and control violators of residency, work, and border security regulations, which took place in all regions of the Kingdom, for the period from November 13 to 19, yielded the following results:

First: The total amounted to Violators who were arrested in joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom (22,094) violators, including (13,750) violators of the residency system, (4720) violators of the border security system, and (3624) violators of the labor system.

Capturing violators

Second: The total number of those arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom reached (1867) people (34%) of whom were Yemenis. Nationality, (65%) Ethiopian nationality, and other nationalities (1%), and (29) people were arrested for trying to cross the border outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner.

Third: (32) were arrested involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of the residency, labor, and border security regulations and covering them up.

Fourth: The total number of those currently subject to regulations implementation procedures reached (30,055) expatriates who are violators, including (28,469) men and (1,586) women.

Fifth: (21,856) violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, (4,555) violators were referred to complete their travel reservations, and (14,206) violators were deported.

Reporting violations

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry or transfer of border security system violators into the Kingdom Within it, or provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any way, he exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for shelter, in addition to defamation of him.

She explained that this crime is considered a major crime requiring arrest, and a violation of honor and trust, urging people to report any cases of violation to the number (911) in the areas of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. And Medina, Riyadh, and Sharqiya, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
