Ajman imposes a goalless draw on Al Wasl with 10 players

Ajman imposed a valuable goalless draw on its host Al Wasl, today, despite playing a full half with ten players after its Moroccan striker Walid Azaro was sent off in the last seconds of the first half, within the eighth round of the ADNOC Professional Football League.
Despite the numerical deficiency, the “Orange” presented a disciplined performance in the first half, as it succeeded in balancing defensive duties and offensive rebounds, before naturally retreating in the second half to absorb the continuous pressure from the Emperor, who intensified his attempts in search of a goal that would guarantee him points in the match.
Ajman goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani emerged as one of the stars of the match, after he made a series of decisive interventions against dangerous attempts by Al Wasl players Palacios, Ali Saleh and Sergino.
Despite this great pressure from Al-Wasl, the visiting team almost turned the tide of the match with a sudden counterattack, after a successful penetration by its player Ismail Moamen, through Al-Wasl’s defences, ending it with a powerful shot that bounced off the crossbar.
With this result, Al-Wasl missed the opportunity to seize third place from Shabab Al-Ahly, after raising its score to 15 points, remaining in fourth place, while Ajman remained ninth with 10 points.
