Starting on September 1 .. New amendments to the traffic tariff in Abu Dhabi

The Integrated Transport Center (Abu Dhabi Transfer), affiliated with the Municipalities and Transport Department, issued amendments to the provisions of traffic tariffs in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi “Darb”, as part of its efforts to enhance the smooth flow of traffic, and reduce congestion on the main roads during peak times.

Work begins with the new amendments starting from Monday, September 1, 2025, as it includes amending the evening tariffs to be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and the morning period remains without any change, from 7:00 to 9:00 am from Monday to Saturday, provided that the fees are free on Sunday and official holidays.

The amendments also include the cancellation of the daily and monthly maximum of the traffic tariffs currently in force for individual vehicles, which means canceling the maximum fees that can be collected from the vehicle daily (16 dirhams) or monthly, which amounts to (200, 150 and 100 dirhams) for the first, second, third and above vehicles.

And the calculation of fees of 4 dirhams continues to be calculated for each transit of tariff gates in Abu Dhabi, while keeping the exemption policy currently applied to the entitled groups, and includes vehicles of determination, families with low incomes, senior citizens, and retirees.

The company «QILLITI), which is affiliated with the Holding (ADQ), is responsible for managing and operating the traffic tariff system“ Darb ”in Abu Dhabi, and implementing new amendments in coordination and cooperation with the relevant authorities.
