“Al -Faris Al -Shaham 3” supports the health sector in Gaza with the shipment of medicines and medical supplies
Within the process of “Al -Faris 3”, the UAE, in cooperation with the World Health Organization in the Gaza Strip, handed over a shipment of medicines and medical supplies to the health sector, to distribute them to hospitals and medical facilities, with the aim of enhancing the ability of health facilities to confront the severe shortage.
The Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis was handed over a number of these trucks, which included a variety of necessary medicines and medical supplies, to support its ability to deal with emergency cases, at a time when the hospital suffers from the inventory of the drug stocks and a severe shortage of supplies.
The media director of the Al -Faris 3 operation in the Gaza Strip, Sharif Al -Nayer, stressed that the UAE continues to provide medical aid and medicines to the Gaza Strip within the “Al -Faris 3” operation, to put an end to the collapse of the healthy structure and alleviate the suffering of hospitals and patients in the sector.
For its part, the medical emergency team coordinator at the World Health Organization, Dr. Heba Al -Najjar, “The organization handed over a shipment of medicines to the Palestinian Ministry of Health that contains all the necessary items and not available in the health facilities in Gaza, and we hope that cooperation will continue and enter more Emirati aid to support the health sector.”
The official of receiving external medical assistance in the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ibrahim Al -Farra, considered that “the medicines and medical supplies provided by the UAE represent a lifeline for all patients, and the continuation of this aid revives hospitals and helps to save patients and wounded.”
The process of supplying this aid is scheduled to continue in batches during the coming period, as part of the UAE’s continuous efforts through the “Al -Faris 3” operation to alleviate the health crisis in the Gaza Strip and ensure the continuity of providing medical services.
