King Charles warns of the “true cost” of war

King Charles, King of Britain, yesterday, sent a message on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the day of victory over Japan, which coincides with the anniversary of the victory of the Allies over Japan and the end of World War II, in which he dealt with current conflicts and warned that the cost of the war reaches beyond the battlefields.
While fighting in Europe ended in May 1945, the war with Japan continued until its intention was to surrender on August 15 of the same year after the United States threw two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Charles said that the last chapter of the war assigned Hiroshima and Nagasaki a “high price”, a price that he wished that no country would pay again.
