The conclusion of the fifth round competitions of Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed for Jujitsu
Dubai, August 17/ WAM/ Today, the fifth round of the second edition of the Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Jujitsu Championship for “without the suit”, which was held in Al -Nasr Club in Dubai, was concluded in the presence of a mass and enthusiastic atmosphere, with the participation of the elite players in under 18 years of age, adults, and professors.
The counterparts in the second day of the tournament reflected high technical levels, highlighted the great development witnessed by the sport of jujitsu in the country, and its pioneering position at the global level, especially with the participation of experienced players who made impressive shows raised the pace of competition and challenge.
At the end of the competitions, the Sharjah Psychological Sports Club leads the overall ranking, and the MD Academy came in second place, and Al Ain Club is in third place.
The activities of the second day attended and participated in the coronation of the winners, His Excellency Youssef Abdullah Al -Batran, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Jujitsu, Abdul Razzaq Al Hashemi, President of Al -Nasr Sports Games Company, Mohamed Mubarak, Director of Aviation Security and Dangerous Materials, Nayef Ibrahim, Senior Director of Operations and Events in the Department of Economy and Tourism, and Hashem Al -Quraishi, Director of Contracts and Procurement Department in the Dubai Municipality.
His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation, said, “The Championship of Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed embodies the pivotal role of sports in promoting social cohesion and consolidating noble values between different generations.
He added, “We are pleased to see this large mass presence in the unique atmosphere of the tournament, which confirms the growing popularity of the jujitsu sport in the country.”
“We are pleased to host this important championship in Al -Nasr Club, and we are well aware of the importance of the jujitsu and the great benefits it provides for practitioners, not only on the physical level, but also in building the personality and enhancing confidence and discipline, and we witnessed during the tour impressive levels of different clubs, which reflects the great effort made by the sports system in the state to establish the UAE’s position on the UAE’s global map, We are proud that Al -Nasr Club be part of this distinguished march, and a forum that brings together promising talents with the elite of the heroes.
“I am always keen to participate in the Championship of Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed for Jujitsu since its inception, because the intensive participation of various clubs and players gives me the opportunity to improve my skills and develop my style, and the competitions were strong and managed to excel in all the battalions and achieve gold and add important classification points to the club’s balance,” said Khaled Walid Zawiya, the player of Al -Jazira Club, who is winning the gold of an under 18 years of 66 kg.
