“No excuses” .. What Real Madrid coach Alonso said about the confrontation of Osasuna

Real Madrid coach Shabi Alonso said that the short preparations period will not be used as an excuse on the eve of the opening of the royal team his career in the Spanish Football League against Osasuna tomorrow, Tuesday (at 23:00 Emirates time).
Alonso will play his first match in Santiago Bernabeu since he took over the team at the Club World Cup in the United States, where the “Miringi” journey ended in the semi -finals.
The Madrid club asked to postpone its opening match until the last date of the league officials, as the team played one friendly match since its loss by Paris Saint-Germain 0-4 in New Jersey on July 9.
“It is clear that it will be nice to get additional support for our request, especially for the health of the players … after a similar hard season and that we get longer to prepare,” Alonso said.
And he added: “But in any case, in the end the matter did not happen and this is what we have reached. We got two weeks of training and there is no point in searching for excuses now.”
Real contracted with many players during the summer, including Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, aspiring to compensate for his disappointed results last season under the leadership of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Real had previously won the domestic league and Champions League title in the 2024 season under the leadership of Ancelotti itself, but it occupied the position of Al -Wasafa in the league last season behind its traditional rival Barcelona and bid farewell to the continental competition from the quarter -finals by Arsenal.
Alonso, who led the German Bayer Leverkusen to the league and cup title two seasons ago, tried to reduce the size of his team.
“I tend to do more than speech. So, making promises before taking any football action does not use usually,” he said.
“We are working hard, the audience is excited, and this is clear. We are also very excited, we want to start this new project, with new players, and a new coach, and to bring this energy that we have to the field, then we deserve it, not to be satisfied with talking about the matter.”
