Players in Al Dhafra cut 300 km per day for training

The veteran Syrian goalkeeper Amjad Al -Sayed, who plays with Al Dhafra Club, confirmed that the team players are making great sacrifices to represent the club, indicating that some of them travel daily approximately 300 km back and forth from Abu Dhabi to Al Dhafra to attend the training, which reflects their great commitment and their desire to serve the team.
Amjad Al -Sayed told «Emirates Today»: “There are players who cut 300 km per day in order to come to the training, and they are used to that, and this reflects their great commitment and their desire to serve the team.” He added, “Such sacrifices show the high spirit of the players, and their love for the club.”
Regarding his evaluation of the appearance of Al -Dhafra in front of Al -Ahly youth in the first round of the ADNOC Professional League, he explained: “We faced the league champion, and we succeeded in presenting a big match with the testimony of everyone who watched it, the beginning was positive despite the loss, and I believe that the performance preaches good in the coming rounds.”
Amjad Al -Sayed, who played in the Al -Ahly youth match mainly, stressed that the team was affected by the high temperature and humidity compared to the atmosphere of the training in Al -Dhafra Stadium, but he stressed that this does not constitute excuses, indicating that what the players on the field reflects the high combat spirit of the team.
Al -Sayed continued: «I do not like the word team’s goal is to stay in the league, because that means continuing in the circle of late positions.
Al -Dhafra started his career in the league by losing to Al -Ahly youth with two goals without charge, in the match that was held at Rashid Stadium in Dubai, where the team appeared at a good level, especially from a defensive point of view, but he did not succeed in translating the few opportunities that were presented to him into goals.
The master explained that the team will continue to improve performance and focus on achieving positive results in the upcoming rounds, to compensate for the difficult start.
