Canceling the end of the second semester exams

The UAE is preparing for the launch of the new academic year 2025-2026, next Monday, amid extensive preparations that included preparing schools and developing education and evaluation mechanisms, within the framework of the state’s keenness to enhance the quality of education and provide an integrated educational environment for students.
The Minister of Education, Sarah Al -Amiri, confirmed during the media briefing today that the state schools are fully ready to receive more than a million students with the start of the school year at various educational levels.
She added that the ministry has worked to enhance the infrastructure of the educational system, noting that 9 new schools distributed over a number of the emirates of the state, with the aim of meeting population growth and providing a modern and advanced educational environment.
Within the framework of developing the educational process, Al -Amiri announced new amendments to the mechanisms of student evaluation at all levels, stressing that these amendments aim to enhance thinking and analysis skills and reduce pressure related to traditional evaluation methods.
It also announced the cancellation of the exams at the end of the second semester, as part of the ministry’s orientation towards the continuous and comprehensive evaluation of the performance of students, which reflects their real levels throughout the school year.
These steps come within the framework of the future UAE vision to develop the education sector, and ensure that it accompanies the best global practices, to ensure the preparation of a generation capable of interacting with the requirements of the future.
