Dubai, August 21 / WAM / The activities of the ninth edition of the “Etaa” employment exhibition were concluded in the Emirate of Dubai, which was organized by the Emirates Financial Institute in cooperation with the Emirates Central Bank, the Emirati Cadres Competitiveness Council (Nafs), the UAE Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, Higher Technology Colleges and Al -Futtaim Group.
The exhibition witnessed the participation of 61 government agencies and banks working in the state, insurance, exchange and financing companies, and witnessed a remarkable turnout from young national cadres, as it attracted more than 1,000 job seekers, and the job seekers provided direct opportunities for employment through more than 2000 immediate functional interviews, in addition to participating in specialized workshops in building skills, in addition to the wing designated for vocational guidance, which witnessed a great interaction from Citizens and citizens.
The exhibition came in its ninth edition as part of the “Enriching” initiative aimed at supporting the resettlement of the financial, banking and insurance sector by providing more than 10,000 jobs by 2027, enhancing employment opportunities for citizens, and involving them in enhancing the paths of drawing future in these vital sectors of the economy, and enhancing the position of youth and investing in their practical energies, as they are the main element in sustainable development.
His Excellency Saif Hamid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor of Banking Operations and Support Services in the Emirates Central Bank, Vice -Chairman of the Emirates Financial Institute, confirmed that the “Enrich” exhibition represents a strategic station within the national efforts aimed at building a specialized national human capital, capable of keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the financial sector, especially in light of the trend towards digitization and innovation, noting the care of the central bank and the Emirates Financial Institute to develop A comprehensive training and rehabilitation system that responds to the requirements of the next stage, and contributes to enhancing the readiness of national competencies and raising the rates of qualitative Emiratization in a way that establishes the position of the UAE as a regional and global financial center.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Faisal Al -Ayla, Director of the Supreme Technology Colleges Complex, said that enabling Emirati youth to lead in vital sectors such as the financial and banking sectors is a pivotal part of our mission, and through our participation in initiatives such as an exhibition enrichment for employment, we enhance our role in preparing graduates ready for the future through applied education and strategic cooperation with the sector, and contributes to supporting the goals of resettlement and seeing the UAE. The exhibition witnessed the signing of the Emirates Financial Institute of understanding with both Al -Futtaim Group and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
These notes come within the strategy of the Emirates Financial Institute aimed at training national cadres and implementing localization plans in the financial sector in the country, and to achieve the goals of the resettlement program in the financial sector “Ithraa”, which is part of the UAE Central Bank initiative to empower human resources in the financial sector.
For her part, Raghda Fatimi, Director of Human Resources for Al -Fatim Real Estate and Head of the Emiratisation Department in Al -Futtaim, stated that over more than ninety years, Al -Futtaim was keen to be a major partner in supporting Emiratisation efforts across its various sectors of her business, noting that participation in the “Enriching” exhibition for employment represented an important opportunity to communicate with the young Emirati competencies, and provide them with qualitative opportunities, professional guidance, and clear paths For growth and success.
Dr. Youssef Al -Assaf, President of the Rothschester University of Technology in Dubai, also stressed that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Emirates Financial Studies Institute (EIF) is a start to practical and vision partnership, aiming to enhance the financial system capabilities to adapt to the future and contribute to its formation.
He added that this partnership comes within the broader network of cooperation that supplies the center of the future anticipation of the university, where multiple future scenarios are explored, whether in the field of rapid technological developments, new organizational frameworks, or changing economic priorities, and the university is working to transform these possibilities into real opportunities for growth, innovation and long -term stability.
The exhibition came in line with the national efforts aimed at investing in the energies of youth and supporting their active participation in drawing the future of the vital sectors that constitute the pillars of the knowledge economy of the UAE and its efforts for sustainable development.
