Indian companies top the list of new members in the Dubai Chamber of Commerce during the first half

Dubai, August 27/ WAM/ Indian companies continued to lead to the list of new non -Emirati companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, during the first half of 2025, by 9,038 new members, with a growth of 14.9% compared to the number of Indian companies that joined membership during the same period last year.
According to a new report issued by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, Pakistan ranked second, with 4,281 new companies during the first half of this year, an annual increase of 8.1%, while Egypt ranked third in the list of nationalities of companies joining the room membership, with 2,540 companies, with a growth rate of 8.3%.
The Bengali companies achieved a prominent annual growth of 37.5%, as 1,541 new companies from Bangladesh joined the room membership during the first half of 2025 to occupy the fourth place, while the UK ranked fifth with 1,385 new companies, with an annual growth of 11.1%.
Syria came in sixth place with 945 new companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce membership during the same period, while Chinese companies ranked seventh with 772 new companies joining 3.8%on an annual basis, and Jordan came in eighth place with 688 new companies with a growth of 2.4%, and Turkey won ninth with 642 new companies with a growth of 3.9%, while Canada came in the tenth place with 535 new companies joining.
As for the sectoral distribution of the new companies joining the membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce during the first half of the year 2025, the scene topped the wholesale and retail trade sector in addition to the real estate and leasing sector and business services, where each of them acquired 35% of the activities of the new members, and the construction sector followed by 17.3%, while the transportation, storage and communications sector as well as the social and personal services sector came in the third place, with a rate 7.6% for each of the total number of new members.
