Abu Dhabi, August 27 / WAM / The Emirates Water and Electricity Company praised the main role played by Emirati women in drawing features of the future of the water and electricity sector in Abu Dhabi, through their direct supervision of a group of the most ambitious energy transmission projects in the world, including accelerating the integration of renewable energy, enhancing the production of low carbon water, and ensuring the reliability of the network.
The company said on the occasion of the country’s celebrations of Emirati Women’s Day that it is making great efforts to enable Emirati cadres to the female component, to increase the number of Emirati female employees who occupy major operational positions in the company to more than 20% of the total number of company employees, working in major departments, including assets, institutional services, technology, finance, legal affairs, governance, risks, compliance, operations, and strategy And growth.
