Salem Bin Ham Cultural Center celebrates Emirati women and honors pioneers in culture and education

This came during the celebration, which was attended by Sheikh Muslim bin Ham Al -Amiri, Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors, and a number of educational and cultural personalities, where he emphasized in his speech that Emirati women proved their pioneering presence in various fields and became a key partner in development and the future industry; He said: Our celebration today comes in appreciation of the generosity and achievements of Emirati women, and to renew the covenant to continue their support and empowerment in all fields.

In a dialogue session entitled “Emirati Women: Local Leadership and Global presence”, the speakers reviewed different dimensions of the march of Emirati women, where Dr. Karima Matar Al Mazrouei, Advisor to the Director of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, shed light on the global human dimension of the experience of “Mother of the Emirates”, referring to her initiative in the Marijib Al -Fahud camp in Jordan, and how her efforts contributed to making a new life for women there, And enabling them to restore hope and build a better future, which embodies the depth of the Emirati approach to empowering women.

For its part, His Excellency Amal Abdel -Qader Al -Afifi, Secretary -General of the Khalifa Educational Prize, praised the high position that Emirati women have reached, stressing that she has become a source of pride in the achievements she has achieved in the fields of education, culture and scientific research.

Dr. Aisha Balhara, a research advisor at the Archive and the National Library, dealt with the historical march of women in education and work, noting that her prominent achievements locally are parallel to her active presence on the international scene in the fields of thought, culture and science.
