The Minister of Culture opens the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater
Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanu, Minister of Culture, opened the activities of the thirty -second session of the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater headed by Dr. Sameh Mahran, during the ceremony held at the Grand Theater in the Egyptian Opera House, in the presence of a large crowd of Egyptian, Arab and international theater stars, and the festival activities continue during the period from 1 to 8 September 2025. His speech, the Minister of Culture announced the activation of & ldquo; International Training Center & rdquo; which will work throughout the year, taking advantage of international experiences and experiences, to give creators wider opportunities for continuous rehabilitation and development. All, which is that the festival bears the name & LDQUO; Cairo International Theater Festival & rdquo; that experimental performances remain an inherent part of its programs, in a way that enriches its diversity and enhances its position on the international theatrical map. It carries it from a living energy capable of opening new windows for thought and imagination; Every offer is presented here is a vibrant dialogue, which is not satisfied with our enjoyment, but rather expands our administers and puts us in the face of questions, dreams and experiences of other peoples. Representation, directing, criticism and academic studies. In the theater, where awareness meets the subconscious, we become in the face of ourselves and the other at the same time, we unite and disintegrate in a deep human experience whose effects extend to our daily life. During which 8 artistic workshops are held, in addition to 11 issues dealing with multiple theater issues and trends. This session comes with the participation of: Egypt, Bahrain, Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Iraq, Spain, Romania, Armenia, Italy, Greece, the United States of America, Zimbabwe, and Colombia.
