Business Forum in Cairo reveals: 450 million dollars in Bahraini investments in Egypt in 2024

Cairo, September 2 / WAM / Cairo hosted, coinciding with the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt today, the Bahraini -Egyptian Business Forum, where the volume of non -oil trade exchange between the two countries was revealed 460.5 million dollars, while Bahraini investments in Egypt amounted to about 450 million dollars in 2024.

During the forum, Hassan Al -Khatib, the Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, stressed that Bahrain is an important investment partner, while Nour Bint Ali Al -Khalif, Minister of Sustainable Development, CEO of the Economic Development Council, and Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade in the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressed that the two countries seek a strategic partnership that opens new horizons in the financial services, technology and industry sectors.

For his part, Samir Abdullah Nass, President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed the Chamber’s readiness to provide all facilities to strengthen the private sector partnerships in the two countries.

It should be noted that Egypt ranked sixth as the largest destination for Bahraini non -oil exports, and the fourteenth rank in the volume of imports during the year 2024, which reflects the strength of the commercial relations that the forum seeks to strengthen through extensive bilateral meetings between officials and companies representatives.
