Bosnada played the role of the hero in qualifying Al Ain with the Professional League Cup

Al Ain team player Mohamed Abbas confirmed that the team faced exceptional circumstances during the confrontation of Kalba in the first round of the Professional League Cup (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup), due to the many absences, indicating that all the players worked hard throughout the week in preparation for the match, although this squad was playing its first meeting together.
The “leader” avoided the farewell of the competition early after defeating his host Kalba with a penalty shootout 3-1, after the end of the original time in a 0-0 negative tie, to qualify for the quarter-finals, while the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw. Note that the team fought today in the absence of ten of its influential players between international obligations and injuries.
He said in press statements after the end of the match: “In light of the many absences in our ranks, we were working hard for a whole week, because this squad participates for the first time with each other, and everyone did not fail and feel the responsibility and presented everything he has in this match.”
Abbas added: “Everyone was responsible and we presented everything we had on the field.”
Abbas praised his colleague goalkeeper Mohamed Bosnada, describing him as the “hero”, after he played a pivotal role in resolving the victory after his participation as an alternative before they were against the penalty shootout, indicating that his colleagues succeeded in implementing their kicks with confidence.
He continued: “We may not have been fabricated during the time of the match, as we put many opportunities, but success was our ally in the penalty shootout.”
