Abu Dhabi, September 7 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, which concludes its activities today at the Denik Abu Dhabi Center, is organized by ADNEC Group, in cooperation with the Emirates Falcon Club, a remarkable presence and a distinguished participation of a number of institutions and companies specialized in veterinary medicine and animal health, which reviews the latest innovations in the field of veterinary medicine, animal health, and modern technologies in education and production.
Among the most prominent parties participating in the exhibition is the advanced scientific group that includes a veterinary laboratory specialized in camel research, which includes embryos transport techniques, cloning, genetic examination of camels, and acid analysis, as well as a specialized veterinary pharmacy.
In the academic field, the United Arab Emirates University, which grants a license to practice the veterinary profession, reviews specialized educational programs that focus on sustainability, animal health and the prevention of diseases that are transmitted from animals to humans.
The Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at the university includes three main departments that include food science, veterinary medicine, and integrated agriculture. It is granted bachelor’s degrees in specializations such as veterinary medicine, marine traps, animal production, orchards, and food science, as well as research programs in food security and the sustainability of livestock and agricultural wealth.
The exhibition also participates in the exhibition specialized in animal nutrition, most notably “Zabeel Fed”, which specializes in manufacturing feed and nutritional supplements for horses, camels, birds and rare animals, and includes a team of veterinarians and nutrition experts, in addition to a feed examination laboratory according to international standards.
The exhibition also witnesses the participation of a number of companies specialized in supplying drugs and veterinary equipment, including Al -Hikma Veterinary Medicines Company, the supplier and distributor of drugs and veterinary supplements globally adopted in the UAE, and serves various sectors that include horses, camels, cows, poultry, and pets, by providing innovative solutions that enhance health, productivity and performance, especially in the areas of camel races and horses, And the health of cows and poultry.
As for the Dubai -based “German Standards” group, it provides services to create veterinary clinics, supply drugs and animal foods from international brands such as “Nestlé”, “Mindrai”, “Zoitis”, “MINTOP”, “Hinke Sas”, and others.
This diversity in the participants confirms the growing role of the Abu Dhabi International Fishing and Equestrian Exhibition as a comprehensive platform to celebrate the authentic cultural heritage associated with fishing and equestrian, and encouraging innovative methods in preserving and optimally care for authentic breeds, as well as reviewing the latest products and services in the field of veterinary medicine and animal health in a way that contributes to supporting the sustainability of livestock.
