Abdullah Al Hamid discusses in Rwanda ways of media cooperation

Kigali on September 8 / WAM / His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamid, Chairman of the National Media Office, Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, met during his visit to the Republic of Rwanda, a number of ministers and senior Rwandan officials, where ways to enhance bilateral relations and develop joint cooperation, especially in the media sector, were discussed, as well as wasting opportunities for cooperation in the areas of sustainable development.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Hamed held a meeting with His Excellency James Kaparibi, Minister of State for Regional Integration Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the prospects for cooperation between the two countries were discussed in various fields, and to emphasize the importance of the media as a way to support bilateral relations and consolidate the strategic partnership in a way that serves common interests, and contributes to strengthening the regional and international presence of the two countries.

His Excellency also met with His Excellency Jean -Damasin Biziman, Minister of National Unity and Civil Participation, where the meeting witnessed a discussion about cooperation opportunities in the areas of national identity and the consolidation of the values ​​of community participation, while emphasizing the role of the media as a basic partner in supporting the efforts of building a coherent society and interacting capable of facing challenges and the future industry.
In a related context, His Excellency His Excellency Doris Picar Oukiza met the Director General of the Rwandan Governance Authority in Rwanda (RGB), His Excellency Clevas Parori, General Manager of the Rwandan Broadcasting Authority (RBA), and Yiand McCulo, spokesman for the Rwandan government, where ways to develop cooperation in the fields of media and official broadcasting were reviewed, and the exchange of institutional and technical experiences.
The meetings also touched on the upcoming “Bridge” summit hosted by Abu Dhabi next December, where its most important axes and role were reviewed as a platform for international dialogue, while emphasizing its contribution to enhancing media cooperation and developing the scene in a way that keeps pace with global transformations.
His Excellency the head of the National Media Office concluded his visit to a field tour at the headquarters of Irembo, the company specialized in the field of technological solutions and digital governance in Rwanda, where he was received by Mr. Benby, CEO of the company.
During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the advanced experience led by “Erimbo” in digitizing government services and simplifying administrative procedures through its various platforms, as well as its initiatives in digital identity, artificial intelligence and distance, and His Excellency listened to a detailed presentation on the company’s contribution to enhancing transparency and reducing bureaucracy, and its role in supporting the non -monetary economy and facilitating the access of citizens to various services.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Hamed stressed that the UAE is under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, is working to enhance its relations and expand the circle of cooperation with all countries of the world, especially with the countries of the African continent, based on its firm belief in the importance of international partnership and its role in consolidating stability and development.
His Excellency said: This visit represents a new step in the fruitful cooperation process with Rwanda, which opens wider horizons for building joint projects, which enhances the ability of societies to achieve their aspirations and active participation in making a better future for future generations.
