"Invision 2025" Discuss the strategies and features of the digital future in the Emirates

Dubai, September 9 / WAM / The “Envynne 2025” event, organized by “du” in Dubai today, discussed: “The meeting of leadership and technology opens the horizons of artificial intelligence” strategies that will form the features of the digital future in the UAE highlighting the state’s leadership in the field of digital transformation and adopting artificial intelligence techniques.
Effectiveness sessions dealt with intelligence -based smart societies, with a focus on practical applications in the pivotal sectors that include industry, health care, education, smart cities, retail, transportation and vital services.
The work of “Invision 2025”, Fahd Al -Hassawi, CEO of “Du”, opened the keynote speech to the launch of the discussion and dialogue sessions that focused on the development of innovation supported by artificial intelligence, and the digital transformation journey that is witnessing a remarkable acceleration in the UAE.
Al -Hassawi, in his speech, indicated that Dubai is today in the list of the five best global cities in adopting artificial intelligence techniques, ahead of pioneering cities in this regard, such as San Francisco.
He explained that the numbers reflect the depth of the trends related to artificial intelligence in the Emirates in this field, pointing to some studies in this regard, where 94% of companies operating in the country see that artificial intelligence represents a major driver for future growth, and 42% of companies have already adopted artificial intelligence technologies, and the sector is expected to contribute to the equivalent of about 14% of the gross domestic product.
He stressed that these numbers do not only mean economic returns, but new job opportunities and innovations, pointing out that business leaders in the Emirates do not wait for the future but rather make it.
He said: When we talk about the national strategy of artificial intelligence, which will add $ 320 billion to the economy by 2030, we are talking about the future of our children, and about a new generation of Emiratis who will not only consume technology, but will make it and lead it to the world.
Jassim Al -Awadi, CEO of Information and Communications Technology at Du stressed that artificial intelligence is today a major axis in developing the future of the digital sector in the country, noting that the company focuses on harnessing this modern technology to build innovative solutions that enhance the process of comprehensive digital transformation.
He said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that what distinguishes the event today is the focus on artificial intelligence and how to use it in formulating a better future, pointing out that harnessing the capabilities of artificial intelligence cannot be just an idea, but rather needs a strong and comprehensive infrastructure, and from this standpoint we invested during the past years in building huge data centers, and we have established an integrated system capable of absorbing the increasing demand for technologies Artificial intelligence, to keep pace with the requirements of the next stage.
Regarding cybersecurity, Al -Awadi explained that protecting networks and subscribers is a strategic priority, and cyber security is an integral part of the success of any technical system, and today we are built for the latest solutions and systems in this field to ensure the highest levels of protection and reliability.
“Invision 2025″ highlighted five strategic axes that lead the march of digital transformation in the Emirates, including: artificial intelligence solutions and obstetric artificial intelligence, including applications of advanced artificial intelligence agents, the strong infrastructure of data centers and sovereign cloud computing to support national data, advanced robots, fourth industrial revolution technologies, mining models ” As a service “and” graphics processing units as a service “to provide access to ultra -performance computing capabilities, in addition to cloud computing services and its super solutions to provide digital infrastructure that can be expanded at the level of institutions to harmonize with the growing technical system in the United Arab Emirates.
The event witnessed the presence of a group of international technology leaders and experts, among them the American business leader, Randy Zuckerberg, who presented a major speech on the future of digital transformation based on artificial intelligence.
The discussion sessions varied between offering the practical application strategies for artificial intelligence, the development of sovereign cloud infrastructure, the integration of advanced robots, and the review of practical applications for emerging technologies across various sectors.
The speakers dealt with how to take advantage of these innovations to build more efficient, sustainable and intelligent societies, in line with the national goals of digital transformation in the Emirates.
