Dubai’s residence is reviewing a project "Smooth travel" At the Public and Private Partnership Forum

Dubai, September 10/WAM/The General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai announced its participation in the activities of the Public and Private Partnership Forum – the Middle East and North Africa (PPP MENA Forum 2025), which was launched today at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel and continues for two days with the participation of more than forty speakers from government and private government agencies, and in the presence of more than eighty accredited experts in this field.
This participation comes from Dubai’s keenness to export best practices and consolidate its institutional reputation at the local and international levels, by highlighting its pioneering achievements in developing the smart travel system, which today has become one of the most prominent success stories in the air ports sector.
Noura Salem Al Mazrouei, Director of Future Ports Department in the Air Ports Sector, made a presentation on the “Smooth Travel” project that embodies the qualitative transformation towards smart travel, explaining that the project is based on a continuous development and improvement of the experience of travelers by providing proactive, flexible and smooth services, depending on the latest technologies and biometric systems that give passengers an experience that relies on comfort, speed and confidence.
She pointed out that the project keeps pace with the directions of the Dubai government in achieving leadership and improving the quality of life for customers and employees alike, and at the same time reflects the UAE’s vision in being the best destination in the world for stability, economy and sustainable lifestyle, through smart passports services that put people in the heart of priorities and translate the institutional identity of Dubai as the future city. The project review came in the forum as an extension of a march of institutional excellence, which strengthened the status of Dubai’s residence at the local and international levels.
In this context, Major General Talal Ahmed Al -Shanqeeti, Assistant Director General of the Air Ports Affairs Sector, stressed that the “Smooth Travel” project reflects Dubai’s vision in upgrading the global travel experience through innovative solutions that enhance the comfort of travelers and their confidence, indicating that the administration is continuing to devise quality and flexible services that puts people at the core of its priorities and keeps pace with the aspirations of the future.
The General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai stressed that participation in the forum represents a strategic step to enhance partnerships and exchange experiences with local and international institutions, and highlight Dubai’s pioneering role in developing smart government services that support the state’s directions towards a diversified and sustainable economy, and establish its position as a global capital of smart travel and innovation.
