"Dubai International Holy Quran" It announces the start of the 26th session of the Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum competition

Dubai, September 12 / WAM / The Dubai International Holy Quran Award, affiliated to the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Action, announced the launch of the activities of the twenty -sixth session of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum for the Holy Quran for the year 2025, under the auspices of the campus of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God bless him”, Her Highness Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum bin Jumaa Al Maktoum.

This competition is one of the most prominent local Quranic competitions organized by the award annually and has a wide participation of citizens and residents of various nationalities in the UAE in one of the largest Quranic forums in the country.
The preliminary qualifiers for the competition start in October, while registration continues until the end of this September through the official website of the award SHQ.Quran.gov.ae, whether individually or through the nomination of the approved Quranic authorities.
His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al -Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Action in Dubai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, expressed his deep gratitude for the care of Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Jumaa Al Maktoum for the competition, which embodies Dubai’s vision in supporting the Quran memorizers and enabling Quranic models in line with the leadership approach in promoting Islamic identity.
Al -Muhairi described the competition as a pioneering Quranic beacon that contributes to the consolidation of the state’s position in the service of the Book of God and the graduation of distinguished memorizers, pointing out that the competition carries educational and societal dimensions that enhance the association of generations with the Holy Qur’an and its noble values.
Ibrahim Jassim Al -Mansouri, Acting Director of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award, stressed that the competition is moving forward in achieving its noble goals, noting that the support of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Jumaa Al Maktoum, the continuing competition, represents an embodiment of the leadership vision in establishing authentic Islamic values ​​and enhancing the UAE’s position as a beacon to spread the Holy Quran and take care of its preservation.

The competition aims to instill the love of the Book of God in the souls, encourage its preservation and intonation among the people of society, and honor the distinguished Quranic models, as well as qualifying qualified memorizers to represent the state in international forums, reflecting the image of the civilized Emirates in serving the Holy Qur’an and its people.

The competition provides participating in seven various branches that include memorizing the entire Qur’an, “uncle” and three, three and twenty -five parts, and takes into account the different ages of the participating groups of males and females, with the requirement that the applicant be from the citizens or residents of the state and that he had not previously qualified for the same branch in the finals.

The initial qualifiers are held through a distance visual contact, and the best participants in each branch are nominated for the final stage that is being held in the award headquarters, where male competitions start from 15 to 20 November, while female qualifiers are held from 22 to 27 of the same month in front of specialized jury.
The competition is a continuation of the award’s role in supporting Quranic initiatives in line with its strategy to build a conscious believer society and enhance religious and national identity in a way that reflects the emirate’s commitment to leadership in caring for the memorizers of God Almighty.
